Write to your MP before it’s too late
The clock is ticking. By the end of February 2026, ministers must decide on compensation for WASPI women. With time running out, UNISON is calling on everyone – members, colleagues, friends, and family – to write to their MPs and demand action.
This is our last chance to send a clear, united message:
If the government fails WASPI women again, they cannot be allowed to get away with it.
Why It Matters
- Many WASPI women were given just 18 months’ notice of a six-year increase to their state pension age.
- In contrast, men received six years’ notice for an increase of only one year.
- An estimated 3.6 million women have been affected by these unfair changes.
